Pieces (formerly fan-nicknamed dinglebops) for the collectables strewn about the world. Paul originally refers to them as "money" in Petscop 1 when visiting Amber's room. Pink Tool implies that they are actually called "pieces", and that Marvin "... wants 1000 pieces for 'machine beyond school basement stairway'".

They are shown in a 5-digit counter on the HUD (temporary, when collected) and on the pause screen. Dinglebops are represented in the UI with the icon Pieces .

They come in several different forms. Every dinglebop is worth one unit — the appearance is just for variety.

The dinglebops appear to be animated sprites, not actual 3D models.
