Pieces (formerly fan-nicknamed dinglebops) for the collectables strewn about the world. Paul originally refers to them as "money" in Petscop 1 when visiting Amber's room. Pink Tool implies that they are "pieces" of some sort, and that Marvin "... wants 1000 pieces for 'machine beyond school basement stairway'".

They are shown in a 5-digit counter on the HUD (temporary, when collected) and on the pause screen. Dinglebops are represented in the UI with the icon Pieces .

They come in several different forms. Every dinglebop is worth one unit — the appearance is just for variety.

The dinglebops appear to be animated sprites, not actual 3D models.
